Press defense is popular again. 22 of 30 teams are pressing more early into this season compared to last with the Pacers and Nets leading the way.
3 Point Surge? Look at the 3PA Instead
Yes, NBA teams are shooting more threes than ever—but that’s old news (sorta). The real story, as Owen points out, is how teams are now focusing on limiting opponents' 3-point attempts. When every team is launching from deep, stopping those shots becomes just as critical. Boston’s a prime example, with a huge lead over any other team with a 15.6% gap between their own 3-point rate and that of their opponents.
