Chet's Insane Shot

Chet Holmgren put the league on notice, dropping a jaw-dropping 36 points with 10 rebounds and 5 assists. But wait, there's more - he went 13/19 shooting and racked up 3 stocks (blocks + steals), capping it off with a fadeaway three from the corner that sent everyone into overtime frenzy.

Shai's OT Extravaganza

Shai was not to be out-done by his own teammate, dropping a cool 40/7/6 on 18-29 shooting. And just when you thought OT would be less cinematic than the finish in regulation, he throws in 10 more points, including a block on Curry that had us all rethinking if he’s better than him now. Then he smoothly glides into a layup t push the lead. This guy doesn't just play basketball; he's like a poet on the court - all smooth moves and old-school cool. Meanwhile, the Warriors are probably still wondering what hit them, having lost 7 of their last 8 games. Ouch.

KAT's Game-Winning Prowess

Moving on to Karl-Anthony Towns, who nonchalantly finished with 29/6/9 on 10-11 shooting. But the real showstopper? His game-winning floater with just 5 seconds on the clock – talk about clutch. Over his last 5 games, KAT's been averaging 27 PPG, and scoring in a variety of ways all over the court. And let's not forget, the Timberwolves are sitting pretty as the #1 seed in the West.

Check out his game-winning magic here.

Giannis vs. Luka & Kyrie: The High-Octane Showdown

In a face-off that felt more like a heavy hitter fight, the Bucks edged out the Mavericks 132-125. Giannis, in a display of sheer force and finesse, dropped a massive 40/14/7. His mid-range jumper to ice the game? Nasty. Luka and Kyrie weren't slacking either, with 35/9/9 and 39 points, respectively.

Will the real ‘Rookie of the Year’ please stand up?

Victor Wembanyama, despite being on the losing side last night, wasn't exactly idle. His stat line? A solid 19/13/4 with a monstrous EIGHT blocks. Sure, his 6-17 FG might not scream efficiency, but those blocks? They scream 'NBA beware'. It's been since Tim Duncan in 2007 that a Spurs player managed such a feat. Talk about stepping into big shoes!

Efficiency vs. Potential So, who's the real Rookie of the Year? Thunder's 9-4 record with Chet or the Spurs languishing at 3-10 with Wemby? Chet's efficiency is off the charts – we're talking .546/.438/.904 shooting with a 68% true shooting percentage. Meanwhile, Wemby, despite the considerably less-than-ideal .517 TS% (well below the league average), is still the better prospect. He's younger, in a self-sabotaging Spurs team (Seriously, Sochan at PG?), and carrying the team's defense on his back.

But let's not sugarcoat it – Wemby's inefficiency is glaring, especially from the three-point line. It's not all on the Spurs' guards; his shot selection could use some work.

The Verdict If we're talking ROY, Chet's taking the lead with his mind-blowing efficiency and team success. But as a prospect? Wemby's potential is still untapped and unparalleled. He's younger, in a tougher situation, and still managing to make our jaws drop. So, Chet for ROY, but Wemby's the future star we can't take our eyes off. Get your popcorn ready; this unicorn race is just getting started.
